Ricardo Guerrero is president and founder, together with Venerable Nandisena, of the Hispanic Association of Buddhism in 2012.
He has been actively involved in translating and editing different works by Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi, Ven. Dr. K. Dhammasami, Ven. Ñāṇaponika Thera, Francis Story, and Dr. Karunadasa among others. Additionally, Ricardo Guerrero serves as the Director of the Editorial Board in Spanish of the Buddhist Publication Society of Sri Lanka.
Commissioned by the Maha Chulalongkorn Rajavidyalaya University (MCU,Thailand) for the Spanish translation of the Common Buddhist Text, which in 2021 constitutes his main occupation in the publishing field. He is a member of the Lumbini Garden Foundation and director of institutional and religious affairs in the Gran Buddha project of said Foundation in Cáceres, Spain.
Ricardo Guerrero holds a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, a diploma in Economics and Business Sciences from the UOC, and has expertise in creative writing for media acquired at the New School University (USA). His diverse academic background enriches his contributions to the field of Buddhism.
