Active Breath Somatic Practice is an innovative somatic practice focused on integrating our awareness of the intrinsic connection between body, mind and emotions through our physical/sensory experience of your breath, voice and movement.

In the entire Active Breath Program, each of the major body systems is defined and explored through actively engaging your sensory perception with a dynamic and expressive relationship within your bodily experience, enlivened physical/vocal presence and expressive potential.

For this Self Care Program introduction, we will look specifically at the autonomic nervous system's relationship to the vagus nerve and the inner fluid vibrational quality of the organs system.

"Your voice is a living resonance moving actively through your entire body"

Active Breath is an innovative somatic practice focused on integrating your awareness of the intrinsic connection between body, mind and emotions through your physical/sensory experience of your breath, voice and movement.

In the entire Active Breath Somatic Practice Program, each of the major body systems is defined and explored through actively engaging your sensory perception with a dynamic and expressive relationship within your bodily experience, enlivened physical/vocal presence and expressive potential.

It is a practical approach for cultivating and deepening your embodiment skills, building resilience and developing conscious attention in your daily-lived experience.

Active Breath is a tool for opening your potential and develops and shapes your embodiment skills to have a clearer sense of self that can contribute positively in how you offer your practice in a community setting.

Active Breath is a series of guided movement sequences using whole-body breathing & sound directly with physical awareness & movement. The practice builds progressively from refined, slow, attentive movement patterns aligned with breath, spine & eye movements and evolves sequentially into more whole body breath and rhythm moving actively in space.

For this Self Care Program introduction, we will look specifically at the autonomic nervous system's relationship to the vagus nerve and the inner fluid vibrational quality of the organs system.

By actively engaging with your experience of the practice, you can begin to refine and clarify the interaction of intention and attention in your awareness, refresh your sense of calmness and enhance your vitality and sense of well-being.

Living in a time of whirlwind change and flux, you want to feel energized and healthy. There is a genuine need to cultivate self-care, reduce stress to build up your immune system and feel joy in your active and interactive expression.

The Active Breath Practice is of particular relevance to somatic practitioners, educators, movement therapists, body psychotherapists, dance therapists, holistic health and wellness coaches, dance/movement artists, voice practitioners, interdisciplinary performers, public speakers and is open to all levels of experience.
